Just wanted to share this scrapbook page that I did from today's pictures. We went down to the beach a little after 1:00 because it looked like the wind was blowing. We sat on the beach and watched a huge surf break (about 4 to 5 feet at times) on the beach. We sat a considerable distance back from the wet part of the beach, but still felt that we had to build our own little levee to make sure that the waves stayed away from us. We had lots of clouds around us so the wind was really strange and not out of the right direction. Matt didn't get to go play on his inflatable pool toy.

Journaling reads:
Today was a quiet day on the beach with no wind. We watched as the tide brought the huge waves closer and closer to us so we decided that we needed to build a levee. Here it is in process and also the finished product. It proved quite reliable but we worried we might have a moat if it was breached.

I also wanted to share this page that I did of the newest addition to Ted & Beth's family. Joey is an adorable little guy who insists (??) on going on a golf cart ride each day. Ted sent me these pictures of he and Joey in the golf cart. Do you think this is a spoiled little guy???
