Kayaks here we come

We are still in Homer, Alaska but have moved to a campground on the spit where we are now dry camping for a bit.

We head out tomorrow morning for a three day kayak trip. We will leave at 8:30 tomorrow morning and have a yurt reserved for the next two nights camping. We will paddle into Tutka Bay with our food, clothing and sleeping bags. This is our first experience with sea kayaking, let's hope some of our whitewater kayaking knowledge will be helpful. Needless to say everything will be in plastic bags in case we tip over. I will post another update when we return to Homer on the 17th.
